Although the core Dealer and Funder information is shared with all Accelerate users, there are two objects you can add to a Dealer or Funder record that are private to your organisation: Contacts and Notes.

Note: Ensure you have either dealer management or funder management enabled before you try to change any details about the dealer or the funder. To learn how to, click here. 'Editing User Privileges'.

Adding Contacts

To add a contact to a dealer or funder, first of all find the dealer or funder that you are interested in:

Navigate to the menu bar and click on 'Dealers/Funders'.

Search for the dealer:

Now click the pencil to edit:

If you want to add a contact, hit Add Contact in the bottom right:

You can add as many contacts as you need to a dealer or funder, but each dealer or funder can only have one primary contact.

You are also able to select whether the contact is responsible for the particular departments based on the tickboxes on the right hand side.

After inputting the details, click "Save" and it would return to the dealer details page.

Adding Notes

If you want to add a note click Add Note:

Input the details and simply click Save.

You can also add notes to an individual dealer or lender contact, not just the dealer or funder itself!

Note: any contacts or notes you add can only be seen by people within your organisation.

Using Dealer or Funder Contacts on Orders

Once you have configured your Dealer and Funder contacts as required, these are able to be utilised on the Order records within Accelerate.

Funder Contacts

When a Funder is selected on an Order, all of the contact records against that Funder will appear in the ‘Contact Details’ section of the Order.

Dealer Contacts

When a Dealer is selected on an Order, the contact records against that Dealer will appear in the ‘Dealer Contact’ dropdown, so users can specify which contact to use. Once a contact is selected, this record will appear in the ‘Contact Details’ section of the Order.
