Info: To use and create Online Quotes & online Proposals, you must have a valid Funder API Credential created.

Note: There are two types of Funder API Credentials. One for Funders that use an API, and one for Funders that are accessed via Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

API Based Funder Credentials

Info: If your Funder has an API, e.g. Lex, Investec, these credentials are stored within Organisation Settings. As they are applied to your Accelerate Client.

To create a new API-based Funder API Credential,

Click ‘Settings’ in the top menu, then

Click ‘Organisation Settings’

Scroll to the ‘Funder API Credentials’ region

Click ‘Add API Credential’ - the following page will be displayed:

Choose which brand you wish the funder to be used for.

Toggle the switches for Online Quote / Online Proposal depending on whether they are correct for the funder

Note: If the proposal toggle is turned on, It is necessary to toggle on direct submit

Select the Funder of your choice

Choose the matching API Type.

Enter in the remaining credentials provided by the funder to connect to their API.

Once you are done, click ‘Save’. Your new Funder API Credential will be displayed in the dropdown:

RPA Based Funder Credentials

If your Funder doesn’t have an API, these Funders are accessed via RPA. This uses your normal login to your chosen Funder’s online portal.

To add a RPA-based Funder API credential, click ‘My Account’ in the top menu bar:

Scroll to the bottom of the displayed page, to the ‘Funder API Credentials’ region:

Here you can add Funder API credentials with your specific account details. So that Quotes and Proposals created using FC are linked to your account with the Funder.

Click ‘Add API Credential’ to add a new credential:

Follow the same process as for a API-based Funder Credential.

Enter your account details and click ‘Save’.
