Stock Group
A stock group is an object that enables you to group related stock together. If you want to manage your stock in Accelerate you will need at least one stock group, but you can have as many as you like; for instance to manage stock coming from different sources, or to represent any other categorisation useful to your organisation.
Creating a Stock Group
Click 'Stock Groups' menu item on the left hand menu bar.
Click 'Add Stock Group' and you can now set the title of the stock group and other parameters.
The parameters you can set are as follows:

Click the Add Vehicles button - you'll then be presented with a new screen. This screen should be used differently depending on whether you are loading:
new stock
used/pre-reg stock (small numbers)

When loading new stock, select the vehicle using the drop down.
When loading used or pre-reg stock in small numbers, use the VRM lookup feature.

Editing Options
If you want to add factory fit options or dealer fit accessories to the vehicle/s, you will need to edit it from the Stock Group Vehicles area. Again, don't worry if you have multiple vehicles with the same options/accessories, once you have specified one vehicle, you can copy the specification to any vehicles of the same derivative.
To begin specifying a vehicle, select the edit pencil on the far left of the relevant row:
Then, proceed to optional equipment and select 'Edit Options'.
Select the required factory fit options and then click 'Save'.
Should you need to add dealer fit accessories, use the Dealer Accessories area on this same screen.
Applying options changes to other vehicles
Once changes have been made to one vehicle, these modifications can be extended to other vehicles of the same derivative within the same stock group:
Navigate to the Stock Group Vehicles area, select the vehicles that you want to synchronise the options and accessories between and click 'Copy FFOs & DFAs'.
A prompt will appear informing you that the vehicle with the highest number of options will be duplicated across all other selected vehicles.
If you are sure the correct vehicles are selected, click OK and the options and accessories from the vehicle with the highest number (of options and accessories combined) will be copied to all other selected vehicles.
Documents
You may want to store one or more documents against your stock group e.g. a price breakdown, a PDF copy of an email, a pricing spreadsheet, a brochure etc.
Note: Documents are not visible to sales users when quoting, they are only visible to users with the Stock Manager permission.
To upload one or more documents to your stock group, simply click the 'Add Document' button in the Stock Group Details header, or 'Add Document' button in the Documents region beneath the Stock Group Vehicles region.
Clicking either of these will show you a drawer on the right of your screen when you can drag and drop one or more files, or by clicking in the area containing the text Drag and Drop Files, select one or more files from your local file systems.
Once the files have been uploaded to the server, you may choose to override the description for each file (my default this is the filename of the file).
Then click 'Save' to store the documents against your stock group.
