Info: The ability to create tasks is a useful feature of Accelerate. They are there to act as a reminder for you to complete any outstanding tasks that might need doing so you can keep track of your work.

Managing a task
Once you have created and completed your task, you can click on the green tick which will bring up this window:
Here, you can add any comments you need to about the task such as "emailed client about XYZ, waiting for a reply" or "called client, no answer".
Then, you can add a "Next Step". This is a very useful feature that you can use to plan your day so you know what to do next. In here you could type something like "call client again".
Then you would choose the "Next Step Type". Pressing the dropdown arrow, you will be presented with all the same options you have when creating a task such as email, call, admin etc. You can then select a due date and time for your next step.
Alternatively, if you have completed your tasks, you can tick 'No Next Step' to end the chain.
Then click 'Complete' and you will be done!
You will find that your next task has been created.
Your next task will either appear in 'Today's Tasks' or 'Future Tasks', depending on when you need to complete it by.
Deferring a Task
You may have noticed the 'Actions' column. Here, you can defer today's task to another day or bring future tasks to today. By clicking the orange arrow in a future task's action column, the future task will be brought up to today. Also, you can defer today's tasks to 1, 7, 30 or 90 days in the future by clicking on the relevant number.
