Introduction

Need to Convert Initial Payment Multiples in your Ratebook? The Initial Payment Calculator is your tool.

Before you start, make sure you have:

  • Your Ratebook in CSV format

  • Access to the "Ratebook Initial Rental Calc" Dataloader type

Ready? Let's get started:

  • Go to https://dataloader.quotevineapp.com and use your usual Accelerate login details. If you can't log in, reach out to the Support team.

  • Select Ratebook Initial Rental Calc as the data type, and select your source file. If your file's on the larger side you can zip it before upload to shorten the upload time.

  • Configure the system to understand which of the columns in your source file contain the Term, Monthly Payment and Initial Rentals. If your source format doesn't have an Initial Rentals column, select - No Initial Rental Column - and then manually enter the number of initial rentals that your source file was calculated at in the Number of Initial Rentals field.

  • Select one or more target initial rentals. In the example above I have a 6+ ratebook, which I am converting to 1,3,9 and 12 initial rentals.

  • Click 'Confirm'. The calculations will be performed and you will be sent an email containing your original file, and the calculated new files.

Note: The billing metric for the service is the number of calculations performed. So - if you have a 10,000 row ratebook at 6+, which you convert to 1, 3, 9 and 12+; that will be 40,000 calculations.
