If you want to add actions that trigger at certain points during one of your customer's contracts here's how:
Head to Settings > Workflow Settings and scroll to Contract Milestones
You then want to hit 'Add Contract Milestone'.
From here, you can define when the Contract Milestone will be triggered by using the ‘Days' field.
If a positive value is entered here, the milestone will trigger n days after contract inception.
If a negative value is specified, the milestone will trigger n days before contract maturity.
When adding an action to a contract milestone, there are a few options to modify behaviour:
Recurring will repeat the action every no. of days - the action will still occur even if the first instance is missed. For example, if you have a recurring action for 100 days after inception, but you loaded your contracts with some past the 100 days mark, the action will still trigger at the 200 days mark.
The limit on a milestone is 730 days (2 years).
Brand enables you to limit the action to one of your brands. If left blank the action will fire for all brands.
Exclude Renewed will prevent the action firing for contracts which are already renewed - where renewed means that a renewal opportunity created for the contract (either manually or via an action) has been set to Closed Won.
